Our specialists develop innovative solutions in the area of colour pastes with sate of the art technology with a focus on specialised customer requirements. The latest development is a low Poly Aromatic Hydrocarbon (PAH) carbon black paste that meets the requirements of the 1272/2013 (EU) Category 1 regulation. In addition to our “classic” products, for example our Ester Black 100 and Aufhellerpaste 215 B, we develop innovative and future oriented colour pastes.
PEKA-Chemie is a partner and service provider in the PUR-Industry. With our modern lab and development centre we are able to guarantee a high standard in quality control as well as product development. Certified according to ISO 9001:2018 we invest continuously in the optimisation of our process, the training of our team members as well as the quality of our products and production equipment.

REACH and Standards
REACH, stands for Registration, Evaluation and Authorisation of Chemicals. It is a defined goal of the REACH regulation from 01.06.2007, to drive increased knowledge on the danger and risks chemical substances could have. In addition it should strengthen the competitiveness of Industry in the EU.
Since the registration deadline on 31.5.2018 the principal of – “No Data – No Market” is followed. Only Chemical substances that are registered within the scope of the REACH regulations are allowed to be brought into the market.
The companies under the KAJO-Group has taken up this challenge and responsibility and is actively working on the continues implementation of REACH.
Development
Our black pastes are real all-rounder products:
- multiple application areas
- compatible with Halogen free flameretardants
- fogging free (tested according to DIN 75201 A as well as 75201 B)
- low emission (VDA 278)
Alongside our ester- as well as ether based black pastes, that are very successfully in the Automotive industry, we provide colour pastes for sport surfaces, the footwear industry, building industry and in toys.
Carefully selected carbon pigments as well as organic/an-organic colour pigments allows to reproduce exact colour tones from production batch to production batch and providing a high level of colour stability.
